Christmas Day Summary

I'm quite a few days late blogging about Christmas morning but better late than never. Kayla was so sick all night. She had the worst stuffy nose and could barely breathe. She also had a fever, sore throat and head cold. She kept coming up and asking for a drink or her nose to be blown. I finally ended up going down and laying by her until she fell asleep.

In the morning, Jaida was the first one up - around 8am. Then Joey finally woke up, and then Kylan. Kayla was still asleep down in her bed so we all went down to wake her up. She was really hard to wake up and we sang some Christmas carols and everything to her. Jaida kept saying that Santa Claus had come too, but it really took us awhile to get her up. When we finally got her up she tripped going up the stairs and started crying. At the top of the stairs she said, "Mommy I'm going to throw up!" So she did.

After cleaning her up and having everyone get in clothes and brush their teeth we let them go to the living room. We opened up our stockings first and then broke into all the presents.

I got a new video camera! Yay! SO EXCITING!! Jaida got an easy bake oven, Kayla got a Nintendo DS, Joey got a remote control car and a big Buzz Lightyear, Kylan got a ring toy and Monty got a bunch of pants (wow, exciting, huh?).

Misty got all the kids a car race track. They LOVE racing cars!!!

After playing around with our new toys for a bit we packed up and drove to Grandma and Grandpa Sitthichai's. Kayla, Joey and Kylan all fell asleep for the entire drive, yay!

We got there just in time for dinner. We were excited that we got to see Glom, Prae and Chris, and also Tara, Eric, Maia, Cody and Garrett.

After dinner we got to open presents again! The kids were going crazy and there was wrapping paper flying all over. I don't think I remember seeing anyone open anything - just what they got after the paper settled. Hahaha...that's kids for ya!

Kayla was still sick the entire day. We'd have to give her ibuprofen to bring her fever down and then when it broke she'd be bouncing off the walls!

The next day, Sunday, Uncle Richard and Aunt Lynda came down from Salt Lake and Uncle Richard got to play Santa Claus. We had a great time visiting, a great lunch and received some great gifts!

Then we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Fielding's. This time Jaida played Santa Claus and handed out all the gifts. Monty finally got what he's been wanting for two years! A gps that goes in the car.

Christmas was really fun and the best part was seeing all our family!
