Danny's Memory Tree

We are putting in a Memory Tree for this years Christmas Tree Lane. All the family made butterflies to put on it. I had the lights off when I took this video, so you can't see the butterflies really well however the tree is beautiful!

Exfuse and Seven+

Monty and I have a new adventure that we have invested in. We stumbled upon what we see as a once-in-a-life-time opportunity and one of the greatest investments that we could possibly make. After seeing the structure of the business and of course many other factors - the biggest being timing and the product projected to boom - we have invested a couple hundred dollars and some of our time into what we call our new adventure.

The juice is a new formula with 7+ super juices that is amazing. If you want to try a bottle for free just let us know and we can get you one! Most people that we know that have tried it, see results within a week of taking it regularly. Results on diabetes, joint pain, energy levels, etc.

Both of us have noticed results and almost immediately. PLUS, a guy at Monty's work noticed his energy level difference - now that says something! :)

We are excited and of course we want all our friends and family to have the same opportunity. If you are business minded and are interested in hearing more about what we are doing - just let us know as we believe 30 minutes of your time could change your life… or not but what is 30 minutes to see?

If you have 30 minutes watch these videos - then call or email me (435-586-4552, thaichai@yahoo.com)

This one is first and it is 10 minutes: The Journey 10 minutes - Science and Product 4 minutes

Joey is Walking

Joey will be 9 months old on October 16th (Monty's Birthday). He started taking steps at 7 months old and now he is really walking!

Sleep Quote

If you think I sleep a lot, you should see my grandpa.

More Landscaping Pics

I'm sure you'd rather see pics of the kids, but here is a pic with our new curbing, trees and rocks. Yay! We're almost there!

Rocks Are Expensive

We ordered a huge load of rocks for our landscaping. They dumped most of the load in our driveway and the neighborhood kids quickly took them up as their own. They made nests out of the big rock pile and had a BLAST!

Cookie Monster

We gave Joey a chocolaty chocolate chip cookie at the ward party and he LOVED it! Monty took it away from him while he was putting him in the car seat and he put his hands down at his side and started growling (not sure how to spell out the sound, ha, ha, ha...). He quickly gave him back his cookie. Then the girls thought it was funny and were teasing him on the way home - taking his cookie away and listening to him grunt because he was mad. It was pretty funny.

When we got home Sammo immediately started licking the cookie off his face. Joey didn't like that so much either.

Jaida's First Lost Tooth

Well, I guess that's if you don't count the one the doctor had to pull because it was so dead.

We decided to take the kids to the Circus. We had just walked in, bought each girl a cotton candy and sat down on the benches. The show had not even started and I look over at Jaida. She had devoured her cotton candy in minutes and was chewing on the very tip of the paper. It looked like there was maybe a hard piece at the tip, she had chomped down on it and was pulling the paper really hard out from between her teeth. All of a sudden, out popped the paper AND her tooth! She took it out of her mouth, looked at it, and then dropped it under the bleachers.

Monty was getting all hysterical, "Why did you drop your tooth? Where did it go? I told you not to drop it!" Not even asking if she is okay he runs to get under the bleachers and find her tooth. Everyone around us was trying to see what was going on.

In the end, the kids had a great time, we had a great time because they were having a great time, they got to ride some VERY smelly miniature horses for $6 each, and they all fell asleep on the ride home.

The Open House

Jeep, This One's For You...

I told my cousin Jeep that I would have a new blog entry by the end of last week. Well, it's Monday - the beginning of a new week and I'm just getting to this. Better late than never. :)

On Saturday we went to an open house of some friends (also my bosses) who had gotten married in August. We took the family which was quite the chore in itself since Jaida has gotten a mind of her own on what she would like to wear, Kayla is constantly stripping, and Joey just hates getting his clothes changed. We finally got there and were of course warmly welcomed by their families.

They had a large gas "fire place bowl" on their deck and they got out hot dogs for the kids to roast. That was the best thing that could have ever happened to the kids, they loved it! Kayla was having so much fun that even after her hot dog was charred beyond charred she still sat there twirling it around on the roasting stick. In fact she was having so much fun that she peed her pants - and just sat there in it. We didn't find this out until we were leaving.

Jaida roasted two and ate half of one and then ran in and out of the house through their doggy door. Joey was deteremined to get out of the house and was also doing his only little doggy run trying to get out the door - someone caught him everytime.

We had homeade chili, homeade root beer, and of course cake for dessert. It was a great time for the family. I hope Katie and Graydon had as much fun at their open house as we did. :)

Joey Full Speed Ahead

Yep, Joey is now crawling. About a week and a half ago he started being able to move on hand just a little bit, and now he's a pro. ;)

It's been fun watching him, and I've got both Jaida and Kayla to help me keep him out of trouble. He has also started pulling himself up onto things - his crib, the walker, the couch, whoever is holding him.... I'm pretty sure he'll walk soon too. But let's focus on the now. He's also started making the raspberry noises - whatever that's called. He eats a lot, drinks out of a sippy cup, and still wakes up at least twice a night. That's my fault - I need to break him of nursing three times a night. He LOVES to be outside, likes to pull your hair. He can zoom across my bed, I think he likes it because it's so soft. He'll crawl just normal, but really fast across the bed.

Oh yeah, he loves the dogs. It's funny to watch him grab the back of Sammo and try to chew on his back. Sammo just looks around with big eyes, "Somebody help me..." The dogs love him too, he's always got some yummy food to lick off of his face or hands.

He has discovered something between his legs and thinks its really funny to grab at it. Hey, all babies do it and it is pretty funny to hear him laughing.

Jaida and Kayla are doing great - Jaida starts school in about 14 days - she is sooo excited! Kayla is still getting into trouble all over the place. Yesterday she comes home and says, "Bobbie is so maaaad." Kayla and Jenna opened up the Moon Sand box on Bobbies white carpet living room and just the day before she had had the carpets professionally cleaned.

Would love to hear your comments!

Joey Starts Sitting

Joey is starting to be able to sit by himself. Right now he still falls over sideways if you aren't holding on to him, but he's really close. He's been rolling over since the end of May, and can roll both ways. Now when he gets on his stomach, he'll get his legs under him and try to push up on his arms. Monty wants to keep putting him on his belly so he'll be able to crawl sooner - I say 'no way'. :)

Backyard Upgrades

We finally agreed on something we wanted done to the backyard. Between the cement curbing and the chain link fence we'll put in some rock. It's going to look really good when we finally finish it, maybe we'll be set and finally get the sprinklers put in?

Moab and Arie

We got to visit with Arie for two days in Moab and had lots of fun!! We stayed at Monty's grandma's house with Shay and Judy. They all slept outside in a tent and the girls didn't wake up once.

Arie was happy to be away from research for awhile and we were happy to have her with us. Thanks for driving clear to Moab to visit!

Thumb Sucker?

Yep!

Lot's of people keep saying, "Don't let him do it". But Joey likes to cry when he's not being held. He is the perfect baby until you set him down. He found his thumb about a week ago and it settles him down for awhile so we can get a few things down around the house. Hey, I sucked my thumb when I was little and was eventually able to quit. ;)

Joey Three Months Old

One of the cutest three month old babies ever! :) Monty calls him Jaida's twin brother.

Jaida Learns To Ride Her Bike

Jaida is riding her bike with no training wheels! Yay, good job Jaida!

Joey's First Smile

One day after Joey's two-month appointment he started smiling. At his appointment they were asking me if he did all this stuff and I just kept saying no. So the very next morning I started talking to him and playing with him and he started giving me these big smiles.

Jaida and Kayla

Kayla has finally started to really play with Jaida. It's been great to watch them play pollies, horsies, and "Toy Story". I finally put my foot down and am only letting the kids watch one, maybe two movies a day. I know that's still three hours of tv, but it's a lot less than they used to watch. It's also split up. A movie in the morning and a movie or cartoons at night. They've been watching one of the Toy Story movies everyday for about two weeks! They love it, and when they're playing they can repeat the whole movie, and tell you what you've said wrong. I've been able to really tell a difference in Kayla without there being so much tv. Don't get me wrong, I love to watch tv, but mostly its just a waste of time.

Jaida Turns Six!!

Can you believe that Jaida is six? She wanted to have another dog birthday and had lots of fun!

Jaida is doing so well in school! She can read, write, and do simple math. It has been fun and exciting to watch her grow so much in a year and she loves school, not wanting to stop for summer. Her teacher says that she is a great student and very quiet in class, yeah, Jaida quiet. I had to ask the teacher twice to repeat that. ;)

She is having Kindergarten graduation in a couple of days, and we are very proud of her!

Joey's Blessing

We had so many family members that came our house for Joey's blessing! It was a lot of fun.

Joey two months old

I used the "almost" two month old picture of Joey for his newspaper announcement and his blessing invitation. I think it was Arie that said he looked like a grump old man. ;)

Kayla and Joey

Kayla loves Joey too, she's just not as interested in him as Jaida is. In this picture she wanted to hold him so I quickly snapped a pick and about 2 seconds later she was saying, "Done", as she was pushing him off. We've tried to give her just as much attention as we can and not always blame the baby for why we can't hold her but it just doesn't seem to be enough at times. For the most part she plays with him a tiny bit and ignores him a lot.

Jaida Loves Joey

Jaida has absolutely loved Joey. It's great because she'll play with him or hold him while I'm busy doing things. She's been a great big sister!

Joseph McKay Fielding

I'm finally updating my blog! If I would have taken off more than a couple of days of work I may have updated this blog when I had the baby. ;) Oh well. Joey was born January 16, 2008 at 2:20pm. He was 6lb. 13oz. and 21" long? I'm guessing on the length. I drove myself to the hospital (about 9am) and he came just a few hours later!
