I Can Be Honest

Dear Joey, when you came out of Primary today you had this head band on. I said, "Check out Joey the warrior!"  You said you were in Helaman's Army. Very cool.

Our Kids

Dear Monty, look at how cute our kids are. They may be spoiled, cry a lot, embarrass us daily and never do what we ask when we ask, but they're ours! Gotta love 'em! :)

But I Don't Have A Blanket

Dear Joey, I think that today you cried probably 80% of the day. After crying and crying and crying I finally took you over to Bobbie's house and sat with you in the backyard while you cried. You wanted to play but when I finally took you over there you didn't want to play anymore. We were sitting on the "couch swing" and I said, "I know what you want to do, you just want to sit here and snuggle with me." And do you remember what you said? "But I don't have a blanket."  That's my Joey, loves me the most. :)

What Is That Noise?

Dear Jaida, the other morning I woke up to feed Keira and I kept hearing noises in the hallway.  At first I thought it was the cat. Then I thought it was the dog. Then I had this sneaky suspicion that it was you... When I got up and opened the closet door there you were curled up on the floor in your "house" with a flashlight and reading a book, at 3:30 IN THE MORNING!!  I had told you that you couldn't sleep there but for some reason you didn't obey me and tip-toed in when everyone was sleeping.  I sent you right back down to your room and I think I grounded you the next day.

Extra Layers of Skin

Dear Kayla, I'm sure glad you have those "extra layers of skin" to keep you warm.

Keira Blessing 2

Just wanted to post a couple more pics of Keira in her blessing dress. The one below makes her look like a doll cake.

FHE Talent Show

Before FHE last night I told everyone to be thinking of a talent they could do for us. Here are some things they came up with. Please excuse the horrible pictures and dirty house.
Kayla did her yoga 4 pose. "I'm the number 4! See, see?"  She was the number 4 on the bottom and meditating on the top. 2 in 1 talent! :)
Jaida could have hula hooped forever, but it only lasted until Kylan fell under the hoop and then got hit standing up.
Keira wanted in on the act and amazed us all with her toe sucking abilities.

Last but not least we have Kylan singing "One Thing" by One Direction and Joey dancing. The underwear, I know, I know... at least you can't see what Kylan is not wearing.

Keira's First Food

Dear Keira, we started feeding you rice cereal a couple of days ago. This means you are 13lbs, 4 months old and getting bigger everyday!!  I think you really only end up eating a teaspoon or so, but its a good start!

Up All Night

Dear Kayla, the other morning you came into my room - I think it was about 7am. You wanted me to come downstairs so I followed you and we went to the downstairs bathroom. You had your clipboard, a stack of paper and an orange maker. Here is our conversation.
Mom: Kayla, have you been coloring in the bathroom?
Kayla: YES! I've been up ALL night coloring my story!
Mom: Oh, so did you just come in a little while ago?
Kayla: Yeah...my story is awesome! But its just pictures

You still have not told me your story! :)

Catching Rain Drops

Dear Kylan and Joey, I hope you two stay best buds forever!

Kylan's Mad Face

Dear Kylan, this is the face you give every time you put on the boxing gloves.  You're quite scary. ha!

Small Blessings

Dear Kayla, today we were blessed with sparkly laces.  You were not very excited about going to clogging today and we didn't have any laces to go in your shoes.  Your teacher had some sparkly ribbon for us to use and you were so excited to go and clog in your sparkly ribbon shoes! :)

Kayla's 100% Spelling Test

Dear Kayla, we were so excited to see this in your bag last Friday!  Your teachers have told me that you have done a 180 degree turn around in school. When your teachers are happy I know it makes you happier. You have been getting up 30 minutes before your alarm clocks goes off, you get dressed yourself and I've only heard you say you didn't want to go to school twice in about two weeks. What a relief!  I hope this change is here to stay!

Hold Me With One Hand

Dear Kylan, ever since you were sick you want me to hold you more often. I love that you still want to be held, and if I just hold you for about five minutes you feel better and get down and want to play.  Lately I've been holding Keira a lot more but you are persistent about being held and will say, "Hold me with one hand." You are so funny at this age!

Crafty Jaida

Dear Miss Jaida, you are the craftiest and most talented kid I know!  You can weave, sew, crochet, bake, play the violin, read faster than fast, you get 100% on all your spelling tests, you can dance, play softball and do anything you set your mind too. It's amazing watching you do all these things!

Joey A Pest? No Way

Dear Joey, I hate to say it, but you've become a pest. Mostly you and Kylan play so good together, but the rest of the time you are pestering him. Taking his cars, poking him, making faces or noises at him, hiding his ducky, taking sips of his drink... You always have this mischievous twinkle in your eye too.  As soon as I sit Kayla down to do her homework you are right there making noises in her face, hitting her pencil or jumping next to her trying to mess her up.

You are still sweet and are always giving Keira hugs and kisses and telling me you love me but you've taken on a pesky streak.

Keira's Blessing

Dear Keira, your dad gave you a very sweet blessing today. Dusty, Misty, Grandma and Grandpa Sitthichai and Grandma and Grandpa Fielding came, and after the blessing we had an awesome lunch!

Neighbor Love

We have the best neighbors. I didn't realize I'd taken this pic of Kylan hugging Sidney but I'm glad I did, we love the Mendenhalls!!

Fashion Show

Dear Jaida, I didn't realize what a ham you are - you really got into the Fashion Show today for activity days. You were so excited and had a blast!  Thank you for serving me rootbeer floats and cookies after.

Oh by the way, I still think it's funny that you think I look about 20 or something. You said that I look a little younger than Bobbie but older than Tiffany Johnson. Then you said, "but you look a little foreign too." Ha!
Oh, and I just want everyone to know that after school Jaida crocheted this necklace and about five bracelets to wear with her second outfit. You are amazing Jaida!!

Pretty Much True

Dear Kayla, last night you were asking me about something and I couldn't remember. You said to me, "The older you get the more you forget." And that's pretty much true.  Today you and Joey were on your way to Bobbie's house, before you walked out the door you turned around and said, "Joey, don't embarrass me okay?" This coming from you...Kayla... hahaha!

My First Roll, Maybe

Dear Miss Keira, just look how strong you are! Today while we were busy juicing tomatoes you were in the living room rolling! You rolled onto your back and then onto your stomach again - at least we think you did because none of us saw. :(

Broken Toenail

Dear Jaida, I must have really brittle toe nails because you came in the room, plopped down in front of me and your knee it into my toe and broke my nail off. Through your pajama pants my nail cut you a little bit and even made you bleed - that was weird!
I am happy that you are enjoying school. You won the drawing again today! That's twice! You told me that the drawing is for bathroom tickets. "Bathroom tickets? Do you only get a ticket if you wipe, flush and wash your hands?" You didn't think that was funny.

Copy Cat Cheeser

Mr. Kai... hahaha, where do I begin?  I can't stop laughing every time I see this picture.  I wish I could have at least taken a good picture, but the camera was probably shaking from me laughing. You just want to be like Joey and do everything Joey does.

It was pretty funny today when you got mad at Joey and threw your little rubber duck. You had a mean scowl on your face and you crossed your arms high up on your chest. But right after you threw the duck Ling picked it up and your whole demeanor changed from mad to desperately getting your duck back from the dog.

One more funny thing. Jaida named the kitty Jorge and you call him "hohay".

Another Thumb Sucker?

Dear Keira, for the past few days you've been able to find your thumb. It's been kind of nice because it either puts you back to sleep or settles you down. I can tell you will be a wild sleeper. :)

Keira 3.5 Months

Dear Keira, you are getting cuter every day! I took this pic on the lawn in Parowan where Dad, Kayla and Joey were checking out the Car Show and I was sitting in the shade with you, Jaida and Kylan.

The Smell of Peanut Butter

Dear Kayla, I was so surprised and Excited to pull this spelling test out of your bag. It just shows that all our hard work payed off and we'll keep it up!  By the way, your teacher has called every day this week giving you a great report!  I told her that we haven't really done anything different but I'm pretty sure you just decided to CTR. ha! You did tell me that all day when you didn't want to do something you would remember the smell of peanut butter and that I would have peanut butter cookies waiting for you if you got a good report from your teacher. Nice job Kayla!

Once There Was A Noman

Dear Kylan, you are the funniest thing since Kayla. :) We started singing the Snowman song the other day and this is how you sing it:
Once there was a noman, noman, noman,
Once there was a noman. Tall, tall, tall.
I laughed and laughed.
You still say, "Oh hay." Instead of okay. "Kylan, be nice to the kitty!" "OH, HAY!!"
You also picked up a really bad habit from Jaida and call everyone 'stupid idiot'. Jaida will only say it when she thinks no adults are listening and was a bit surprised when I told her she needed to quit saying it.
