Joey The Brave

I came out back onto the deck and of course didn't want to go on the grass, but then I saw Joey climbing up the swing set. So I run to get shoes on and as I'm running back out the door Joey has climbed all the way to the top and is headed for the slide. So I'm yelling to Kayla to help Joey as I tear down the stairs. Joey is completely oblivious to my panic attack, he turns around on top of the slide and goes down backwards on his belly - Kayla catching him at the bottom. So everything was fine, but I really cannot believe I don't have gray hair yet.

Joey thought he was pretty cool and kept climbing and sliding over and over. Occasionally he'd take a break by going over to the sand box and eating a fist full of sand...yummmm!

Hee, hee, hee...I just noticed at the beginning of the video - look closely at Kayla in the background. She's showing off her "penguin egg".

Our Oscar Winning Dress

...and yet another crazy, funny Kayla! Kayla really did this dress all by herself. Wanna know what it really is? It's Harry Potter's invisible cloak. Their Aunt Sheila gave it to Jaida when she was three years old. Amazing the things it's turned into.

Another crazy, funny Kayla. Using our hot pads she made herself into a mermaid. It kept her busy for quite awhile to. :)

Wow, how time flies! Jaida's birthday wish this year was for her two front teeth. She had a fun party and Monty thinks she's ready for friend sleep overs. I'm thinking in another 5 years...

Joey's First Birthday

Well, I can't find any pictures and nothing in my journal so I'm a little bummed about that...

This picture that I do have posted was taken in January 2009, so we'll just say that I took this on his birthday.

We had cupcakes and he opened presents. I must have video camera footage that I'll have to get.
