That's One Big Egg

 

Dear Jaida, when I showed you this giant egg you said, "Whoa!  That is HUUGE!  I bet that hurt coming out." HAHAHA (you would know...)

Dear Kayla, when we told you we thought we lost Sprinkles the chicken you started crying.  I hope we never lose Sprinkles for real.
Dear Misty, you took Kayla and Joey to lunch which made EVERYONE'S day.
Dear Monty, you made cookies, fed and watered the chickens, cleaned out the coop, gathered the eggs, found Sprinkles, mowed the lawn and cleaned out your car - all in one morning...I'm speechless.

I Love to Hear You Laugh

Dear Kylan, watching you sit quietly folding your arms while Kayla said her prayers tonight was...the cutest thing.
Dear Joey, I really enjoyed playing the Clifford game with you tonight. Trick-or-treating at all the houses on the board was yummy and playing on the slides and swings was a blast.  But then you ate everything. But then you fixed it.
Dear Kayla, how many times can you watch Wild Kratts Falcon city before you get sick of it? I've lost count.
Dear Jaida, I can't believe how hard you can laugh watching Sammo take green beans out of Dad's mouth (so that's what happened to all the green beans). I love to hear you laugh.
Dear Monty, you taking the girls over to play catch at the park was way better then getting the lawn mowed.

Dear Monty, I wrote your name down in my crossword puzzle today.
Dear Jaida, thank you for helping me clean the couch, put your beads away and tell Kayla to come home.
Dear Kayla, you ate three containers of fry sauce today and said, "I ate some fries too." I'm pretty sure you ate one fry per fry sauce container. Yum!
Dear Joey, you rode your trike down the sidewalk aways, got off, ran over to me and said, "Mom, I love you." You actually did this three or four times. I hope you never stop doing that.

Friday That Felt Like Saturday

Dear Jaida, I heard about the to-do list you made for you, Kayla and Misty... Watch Astro Boy, Fry Run, Get Treats and watch another movie. Misty brought you home with treats to last a week. I hope you always remember your "runs" with Misty!
Dear Kayla, you figure stuff out! You wanted to play with the hose but I said no. So you rolled over the pirate ship play boat, got on top and hooked up the hose yourself. I'm proud of you for that. Plus you and Joey kept your promise to not get my clothes on the line wet.
Dear Joey, the funniest thing was when Kayla was trying to keep the water from Sammo and she kept spraying you. I think we need to retrain you, you peed your pants at the park, peed on Misty's lap, peed on the kitchen floor, peed on the couch and then peed in bed...
Dear Kylan, there were so many cute pictures of you to choose from but I chose the one with you in the big boots. You were walking around so proud of yourself, hahaha!

Dear Monty, I'm sure shooting was more fun for you than playing in the dirt, swinging, playing in the water and watching movies and eating treats.

And It Came To Pass

Dear Kayla, last night you read a scripture (1NE 14:18) ALL BY YOURSELF! Your favorite part to read is, "And it came to pass...". It so exciting watching and listening to you learn to read!

Dear Jaida, you played with Kayla all night and I don't remember her crying once. You two were in your bubble bath for an hour and being so nice (and giggly) to each other!!

Dear Joey, the other night you held my hand the entire time I said my prayers. You are so sweet, I loved that.

Dear Kylan, waking up 4-5 or more times in a night is bad for your health and mine.

Dear Monty, if I got so sunburned it hurt to move I would want to sit at the computer for five hours too.

Dear Misty, dishes + movies + rootbeer floats + MOVIE THEATER POPCORN = the best sister-in-law ever!

I Love Rice

Dear Kylan, watching you eat rice was one of the highlights of my day.

Dear girls, you having NO cavities at the dentist was another highlight of my day.

Dear Joey, listening to you be so excited to go to the dentist for the first time made me wish I was going too!

Dear Monty, who knew that you Kayla and Kylan could have so much fun at the pool by yourselves. Wanna take them again tonight?

Monty! I'm Over Here

Monty took Joey and Kylan to McDonald's a few weeks ago and texted me this:

Joey was calling for me saying, "daddy, daddy," but I couldn't see him. Next thing I know, he stuck his head out the side of one of the toys and said, "Monty! I'm over here."

Dear Monty, I love it when you take the kids to McDonald's. You should do it more often. :)

Burrito Style

Dear Little Burritos, I love that you love to be wrapped like burritos. For some reason it makes you fall asleep in no time. :)

Slippery Fish

Grandma Fielding wanted to hear the kids sing some primary songs so I got out all the songs we sing in nursery. When we started singing "Slippery Fish" Kylan started doing the actions - we had no idea he knew these! It was the cutest/funniest thing!

The other kids are being really loud so you can't hear the sound he makes when the song says, "Oh No!" but it's so funny. We'll have to record him again when its quieter.
(p.s. I know, I know...CLOTHES!!!)

Peek A Boo

Dear Kylan, playing peek a boo with you was hilarious. I missed the part when you would put the bucket over your head and walk around like a bucket ghost. :)

Our Spelling Bee

Jaida came home from school today with a Spelling Bee tropy!!!!! She got 2nd place.
Wow, so proud!


She said that the word she missed was "last". She said, "L A Ssss...t T"

April Fools

The kids planted "Dougnut Seeds"

I did this to both girls but it wasn't very funny, well now it is... Kayla reached down into the toilet to pick up the toilet paper out of the water! YUCK!

After school we went to the park. Grandma Fielding showed up just in time and then Misty brought over ice cream!

Swimming ended our great April Fool's Day!
