It was just me, Monty and Kylan and we got a lot done! It rained the entire time but still wasn't very cold, thank goodness! We didn't leave until about 10pm or 10:30pm and on the way home the roads were a lot worse and in some places we were hydroplaning. About 20 miles south of Cedar we hit this giant pothole/sinkhole. Scared the crap out of all of us! Just a little bit passed the pothole there was a car on the side of the road with their flashers on - we were pretty sure they hit the same hole. Suddenly Monty could hear our tire deflating and we had to pull over. He gets out to check it and the tire is completely flat.
Seeing too many cars get side swiped on the side of the road he orders me and Kylan out of the car to wait. Luckily Kylan was asleep and we just piled coats on top of his car seat so he wouldn't get cold or wet.
Wow, it felt like cars were FLYING past us! Thankfully it was so late at night that there wasn't very much traffic, but every time a car would start toward us I just knew they were going to hit into the back of our car. After awhile another vehicle stopped a ways behind us to check their tires and eventually a tow truck came to pick up the first car we saw.
Monty called dispatch and let them know about our situation and the pothole. The dispatcher said that they had already filled the pothole today and had quite a few calls from people also hitting it. We probably waited about 20 minutes and a Highway Patrol came to help us change our tire.My camera phone sucks so I couldn't get any good pictures. The one below is of the High Patrol's car.

When we finally got home at midnight, the house was spotless! Misty and Jaida had cleaned upstairs and downstairs! Misty had washed the dishes and all the kids were asleep. Misty told me that all the kids helped clean and I just couldn't believe it...and she didn't even yell at them.
I don't think we went to sleep 'til about 1am or even 2am - it's all a blur right now. We're just very, very grateful we got home safe and that nothing worse happened.
