My Boys

I love saying, "My boys," or "My girls." Mostly I posted this picture because I want to know if you think my boys look alike? So far Kylan doesn't really look like the rest of my kids but in this pic I think that my boys have the same eyes...and nose...

Jaida the Peacock

Our family loves to watch Amazing Wedding cakes. There is a cake from Merci Beacou (sp?) they made called the peacock cake that we loved. When I saw this dress at the store it reminded me of that and I just HAD to have it. Surprisingly enough Jaida loved it! However come Sunday we couldn't find the dress??

Summer or Winter?

I love posting pictures of the crazy things my kids come up with! I have no idea what possessed them to dress in summer/winter wear but it made everyone laugh. ;)

Cedar City's BEACH?

Oh yes, we have a beach. It's not nice and sandy like a real one, but it keeps the kids happy and honestly that is all that matters in the summertime. I recommend going early and taking some shade!!

Garden Fresh

We've got a great garden growing this year. This is a picture of the lettuce we're growing. Me and Jaida went out and chopped quite a bit of it to take to the ward party. We made a beautiful salad and right before we headed out the door I tried a piece and about threw up! It was SO bitter!! I was SO disappointed. However about two days later I took it out of the fridge and just before tossing it I took another bite and could not believe the difference in taste. I added a bit more water to the bowl and now the salad tastes great. It's been almost a week since we picked it and it's still nice and crisp.

Baby BumBum Bee

Joey learned this cute little song in nursery and I LOVE to listen to him sing it. I was really lucky to get this much on camera.

Joey is now 2 1/2. When he was 2 he was the cutest and sweetest thing. He would always wake up in the morning and come and sit on my lap while I was working on the computer. He would always snuggle up to me and let me hold him. After Kylan was born I was never at my computer when Joey would wake up so he quit sitting on my lap and I'm usually holding the baby and can't hold Joey. A few weeks ago I was rubbing his back and he said, "Don't touch me mom." Oh the heart break!! Too bad they can't stay in those cute little stages for long but if they did then we'd just start taking those for granted.

He loves doing things by himself now, following the girls everywhere and doing everything they do. That includes, wearing lip gloss, fingernail polish, dancing, singing, dressing as fairies and doing every other imaginative thing they come up with.

His thing right now is screaming - not a boy scream, a highpitched, pull-your-hair-out scream. He loves screaming and does it all day every day. Sometimes he and Kayla will have screaming matches and they both win. Ulg!
