Dear Joey, I wonder if it's a growing thing, but you have been crying a lot lately - I mean A LOT. You cried this morning when Jaida took her mp3 player back (understandable), you cried when I gave Kylan a spoonful of pudding before you, you cried when I made you get in the tub, you cried when I wouldn't turn on a cartoon and you cried when Dad wouldn't take you to the park you wanted. Did I mention that this was all before noon?
This reminds me of the time I was crying and you asked me why my eyes were dripping. Now when I cry you tell me to go in a different room and not watch the tv (even if I'm not watching tv). You've seen me cry during too many Disney movies, hahaha.

The Sick Bug
Dear Jaida and Kayla, I remember when I was little, got sick and was throwing up into an empty ice cream bucket - over and over. One of you doing that would have been enough but both of you throwing up over and over was awful!! I seriously think it was about 10 times each. We all slept out in the living room among dirty towels, blankets, sleeping bags, pillows, clothes, couches and carpet... What a night! I wonder if this is something you will remember when you get older?

Non-existent Lap
Dear Kylan, I'm sorry that I have to keep pushing you off my non-existent lap. I know you don't understand that shoving yourself up as far as you can go really hurts my belly. It's great when I say, "Ow" and you immediately turn around and rub my belly saying, "Hurt here?" You are one smart cookie! Which by the way was confirmed when I turned to look at you in Del Taco and you were using the side of the glass to help you get up on all the play equipment. I should have taken a video but was just shocked that you had figured that out!.
Dazzle
Dear Jaida and Kayla, I was so proud of you at your FIRST clogging competition - you two were excellent! Kayla, you told me that you were so nervous. You stood in line quietly, you barely moved and didn't say a word - you must have been really nervous! I asked if you wanted to practice one of the moves so we did the "cheerleader" and that made you smile. Jaida, you didn't act nervous or scared at all, but smiled big up on the stage. You must be used to getting on stage and in front of people with all your music performances. :)

No More Stuffed Animals
Dear kids, remember that yard sale we had a few years ago and sold a TON of stuffed animals? Well, somehow the ones we kept reproduced into this mass. I regret to inform you via this blog post (that you might never read), that I have taken a giant bag away of stuffed animals away. Hopefully they are ones that you will not miss and haven't given names yet. Love, Mom.

Brought To Your Door
Dear Joey, last night you were telling Dad how someone brought you to our door (when you were born). Dad asked who brought you and you said Santa Claus. Oh, and you were in a medium sized basket. By the way, you are a very messy ice cream cone eater. :)

A Wonderful Woman...
A wonderful woman lived in a shoe.
She had so many children
She knew exactly what to do.
She held them,
She rocked them,
And tucked them in bed.
"I love you, I love you,"
Is what she said.
She had so many children
She knew exactly what to do.
She held them,
She rocked them,
And tucked them in bed.
"I love you, I love you,"
Is what she said.

99 Years in Jail!
Dear Joey, today you had your first little shoplifting experience. At the check out stand you and Kylan were playing with all the gum and I thought you'd put it all back. When we got the van you were just sitting there quietly in the shopping cart - not moving. I was asking you what was wrong and if you had peed your pants. You lifted up your legs and there was the package of gum. I wheeled you in the cart back into the store and made you put the gum back. When we got back in I told you I never wanted you to do that again. Kayla pipes up from the back saying, "Joey, that is BAD! You could go to jail for 99 years!!" Despite you saying that you didn't feel embarrassed, guilty or bad you said nothing on the way home and just had this look that you knew you did something wrong. I love ya Joey! Let's just never repeat this. :)
