Reunion Frustrations

Yesterday I got a call from Amber; she is on the 10 year high school reunion committee with me and Rachelle. Our reunion is June 19, so we asked everyone to have their money in by May 20 – tomorrow. Amber said that so far she’s only gotten money from 10 people! I think she was feeling bad about it, but it just made me mad. I feel like we have been putting a lot of time and effort into the reunion and would like more than 20 people to show up. My husband works with one of my classmates and he told Monty that his wife doesn’t want to go because she’s five years younger than us. First of all it’s his reunion, not hers, and why would we ask how old she was or care? Yes, there will be people that will not be persuaded, but I think for the most part if people were doubtful but still went they would be glad. Our class is not big, only 88 graduates, but if I need to, I will call each one of them.

I was also assigned to do our family reunion in August - hopefully that will be easier!
