Wow, everyone was so awesome for emailing me back saying they couldn't wait to see pictures! I know it took me forever to get them up so sorry for all the wait. The cake and party turned out great and Kayla had a great time.
After all of Kayla's friends got there we started eating - pizza, bread sticks, chips, and chocolate milk. Kids at party's sure have a lot bigger eyes then stomachs. :)

After eating we played some minute-to-win-it games. We should have played the games and then eat because a couple of kids got stomachaches while doing one of the games. I'm pretty sure it was from all the chocolate milk though and not the food. We played the cotton ball game where you put Vaseline on your nose and use it to transfer cotton balls. Kayla got a little carried away with the Vaseline and put it ALL over her face. In the very first picture her face looks kind of greasy and that's why.
After the games we had cake and ice cream.
After cake and ice cream Monty took the kids on an awesome scavenger hunt that he had created for the kids. First they had to go outside to the swings, then they came in to look under the fish tank, then outside to the chicken coop, then inside somewhere, then back out to the garden.
Finally at the last clue Kayla got to use the GPS and lead the party to the "treasure". Monty had them all go single file through the yard and Kayla led them around the van a couple of times until Monty said, "Stop! I think it might be in the van..."
...and it was. Kayla's new bike! She was so excited and climbed right in and on top of the bike. The other kids also got a small "treasure". The boys got a hot wheels car and some candy and the girls got a small princess tiara and wand with some candy.
Kayla loved her bike. While everyone else went into the backyard to bounce in the jumpoline she rode around on her bike out front with Jaida. She tells everyone that it has a backpack with straps to keep it on the bike.
That night Jaida and Kayla were laying under a table coloring in the book she got for her birthday. Kayla discovered that the crayon box had a sharpener in it. Kayla really wanted to sharpen the crayons and Jaida says, "The crayons don't need sharpening, they are already sharp. You only sharpen them when they're dull." After a few seconds of silence Kayla says, "What's dull?" Jaida says,"Dull is not sharp." So Kayla looks at her crayon and says, "this doesn't look dull to me. It's undull." So that was that and no crayons got sharpened that night. After a few more minutes of coloring I hear Kayla say, "This is boring."
She loved her birthday, the cake, the party, and especially "the end" (where she got her bike).
I love the rainbow birthday cake, this talent is inherited from aunt Judy I guess :)
