34 Weeks and Counting

At 34 weeks I cannot WAIT to have this baby!

Every time we drive by the hospital I can't wait for that first contraction that sets off the process of labor. Then to go in and have the nurses wait on me hand and foot, lay in a hospital bed and not see a dirty house, have all my meals cooked and served to me (no matter what they taste like), and of course have a new little baby.

I also can't wait to see how Monty handles getting Jaida ready for school in the morning, cooking meals, cleaning the house, doing the laundry, and getting things ready for me to come home.

Okay, let's be honest, I'm sure I'll only be gone one or two days, Misty will come and clean the entire house, and the kids will eat Mcdonald's, pizza and cereal for meals. :)

What I dread now...
The weeks before actually having the baby, the sleepless nights, aching legs, back and bottom. Waddling around the house in pain, not being able to hold Joey easily, only fitting into a couple of pants now, getting Joey to sleep in his own bed, and lastly coming up with a name for the new baby!

What I enjoy now...
Feeling the baby move, the look of surprise on the girls' faces when they feel the baby move, having the kids rub lotion on my giant belly, and having Monty be overly concerned when walking through an icy parking lot.

  3. Wow, you're at 34 weeks, guess it seems fast to me because I'm not the one pregnant!
I hope things are going well and you need to tell your visiting teachers to be on the ball with meals when you come home this time! :)

  4. Jill - thank you! That is one of the nicest things a pregnant gal can read!

Jeep - yes, I would love to have you come babysit and cook for me. :) I will be sure to email pictures.

Christy, my next door neighbor is the compassionate service person, my other neighbor is my visiting teaching companion, and my old first counselor is my visiting teacher. I'm almost positive I'm covered this time. Thanks for thinking of that though - how did you remember last time??
